CROYA Charter Show - Split on the global map of nautical tourism

The CROYA Charter Show, held from October 4-6, brought numerous new opportunities to Croatia's yachting industry. How? The show laid the foundation for further growth and positioned Split, along with the entire region, alongside leading European destinations. This prestigious luxury yacht show also enhanced Croatia's image as an elite destination and took a step toward new trends.

The CROYA Charter Show was the "missing piece" that further enriched the city's tourism offer.

The need for such a nautical show in Split was evident from the first impressions of participants and visitors.
The goal of this show was to position our coast as an elite destination

Clearly, it succeeded, judging by the reactions and comments from brokers and agents who attended the event.

Thanks to this show, Split has now been marked on the global map of yacht charter shows.

The aftereffect of CROYA Charter Show could be far-reaching

Although first impressions are just beginning to come in, it's already clear that the CROYA Charter Show brought numerous new opportunities for Split and the entire region.
This show not only further solidified the city's image as a prestigious destination for nautical enthusiasts but also opened the door to future growing trends in luxury tourism.

With its rich history and natural beauty, Split is increasingly creating a recognisable position on the global nautical tourism scene, thanks to this event

From October 4 to 6, Split's western coast hosted an impressive array of 42 luxury yachts, all as part of the CROYA Charter Show, a specialised event focussing on the most prestigious yachts available for charter in Croatia.

More than 200 charter agents from various parts of the world attended to get a firsthand look at what Croatia's luxury nautical offer can provide. A closer look at luxury yachts, ranging from 20 to 55 meters in length, gave them a better assessment of these crewed vessels.

The enormous potential of the CROYA Charter Show

The show was organised to give charter agents the opportunity to directly assess not only the quality of the vessels but also the level of services provided, aiming to ensure long-term growth in demand for Croatian yachts on the global market.

The CROYA Charter Show has enormous potential to create a significant shift in the perception of Croatia as a top destination for luxury nautical tourism.

Stipe Petričević, president of the CRO.Y.A. association, the show's organiser, emphasised that Split is a natural destination for such an event.
"Split is an exceptional destination in itself, and from the beginning, it was our first option for hosting the show," said Petričević, highlighting the city's global potential.
He added that this show is just the beginning of an ambitious plan to strengthen the entire Croatian coastline's position among Europe's leading nautical destinations.

CROYA Charter Show and the future of Croatian nautical tourism

The CROYA Charter Show has shown its potential, as well as the potential for growth and further positioning of Split as an unmissable destination on the global nautical tourism map.

Given the positive first impressions and the strong interest of international charter agents, the show has all the prerequisites to become a regular annual event, attracting an increasing number of luxury yachts, agents, and guests.

Moreover, positioning the Croatian coast as a competitor to the most prestigious destinations could further attract elite clientele and stimulate the development of luxury tourism in the region.

In the future, the CROYA Charter Show could become the most important event on the global nautical industry calendar, making Split and Croatia an essential stop for luxury and sailing enthusiasts.
